HPMC
Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose(HPMC) is made by natural high polymer cellulose as raw material and series of chemical processing. It’s odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white powder, which can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution. Mainly used in the construction field.
Modified HPMC
Modified Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is made of HPMC as the main raw material, mixed with other specific additives in a certain proportion.HPMC has a wide range of uses, but the specific requirements for each use of the characteristics of HPMC are different, and it is necessary to adjust HPMC through modification to make the most suitable products.
MHEC
“Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose is a gelling and thickening agent derived from cellulose. The solution presents strong pseudoplasticity and provides high shear viscosity.
It is mainly used as dispersant, adhesive protective colloid, thickener and stabilizer for coatings, building materials and daily cosmetics. It is mainly used in tile adhesives, roll-on/wall putty, cement coatings, gypsum-based products, cement-based mortars, water-based emulsion coatings and drilling oils.”
HEC
Hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC) is a gelling and thickening agent derived from cellulose. HEC is a commonly used thickener in paint & coating formulations. HEC thickeners are used in paint & coating formulations to increase the viscosity of the paint and to improve its flow and leveling properties.
1.For painting
HEC can be used as a protective colloid for vinyl acetate emulsion polymerization to improve the stability of the polymerization system over a wide pH range. In the process of coating production, HEC can disperse pigments, auxiliaries, fillers and salts evenly, and play as stabilizing and thickening. It can endow the coating with good rheological property and pseudoplasticity, and improve the anti-sag property and anti-spatter property of the coating.
2.For cosmetic and detergents
HEC can be used in shampoo, bath fluid, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, lotion and cream, etc., it can thicken and stabilize the paste, and act as anti-redeposition agent for dirt in washing powder.
RDP
The re-dispersible emulsion powder is a white powdery polymer made of emulsion by spray drying. In contact with water, the emulsion will disperse quickly and have the same film forming characteristics as the original emulsion. This film has high weather resistance, high toughness and high adhesion to different substrates.
Wall Putty (putty coating)
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is an odorless, tasteless, non-toxic white powder that can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution. It is used as a thickener, binder, and emulsifier in a variety of products. In the production of wall putty, HPMC is used as a binder to hold the putty together and give it a smooth, creamy consistency.
Tile Adhesive
HPMC used in tile adhesive can increase the adhesion of tile ceramics. Tile adhesive is the medium that adheres tiles to the substrate. It must be easy to use. It cannot cure too fast or too slow. Self-leveling Mortar
HPMC with low viscosity is widely used in self-leveling. Self-leveling is a very advanced construction technique. Adding hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can control the water holding capacity of the ground after pouring, the bleeding is not obvious, and the ground has high strength and small shrinkage after drying, thus greatly reducing cracks. In addition, the addition of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can also provide viscosity, as an anti-sedimentation additive, enhance fluidity and pumpability, and improve the use efficiency of the floor.
